Just to let everyone know, I did stay in the Airside Transit Hotel at KLIA on my recent trip and it was very good and reasonably priced (MR 120 for 6 hours).

My room was well appointed and had a great view of the tarmac (while also being very well soundproofed).

It certainly beats the SIN transit hotel (which doesn't have any windows) hands down.
