Yes it does! If the language is other than English, then the chances of having subtitles increases greatly.
I don't recall seeing English language subtitles on most of the movies shown on SK, so I guess the original poster is likely to be out of luck on this.
The personal TVs on the seatbacks do at least feature a map showing where the plane is together with certain information.
Also (unless I am getting confused with Singapore Airlines) don't SK have a few computer games available through the seatback TVs?
