For sure, the hidden message was 'bye bye FIRST hello next generation Club World!'
He was also aware of Club World customers perference to the 767 config to 777... He does mention "extensive product invesment not only in Club World".
He talks about the high demand of World Traveller Plus... So I'd say they'll be improvements there but not before the new Club World, which sounds as though they've figured out already, "I don't wanna let the cat out of the bag until later in the year" says Rod.
Maybe Club will be the new FIRST and WTP more like Air N.Zealands Prem Economy. From BA's product history I'd say the new Club will be twice as good as FIRST is now... which isn't impossible to believe.

Lots of plans but great results won't appear until 2008 along with the opening of BA's terminal (five). They've already decided whether First will remain as they would have to build a First lounge in T5... I'd be surprised if they did. They introduced a supreme First product, they have the power to end it with a supreme biz product. We'll know by the end of the yr
