I presume by 'single term' you mean the minimum they have to sign up for including boot camp training. They're stuck with that otherwise it cost them S$10K if they quit early
There are many SQ girls who have been there for a while on both long haul and regional, as well as those who leave. I'm told it's good for the CV having been an SQ girl.
You do tend to get a number of the girls with families (I won't say 'older' as there aren't any

) doing the shorter (turnaround) trips as they have specifically requested not to be sent on longer flights involving stopovers for family reasons.
They obviously do need to be there a while to make there way up the ladder although this is no guarantee as the girl looking after us upstairs on SIN-MAN recently had been there 10 years yet was still in the blue kebaya, which surprised me as she was exceptional. I suppose it shows the standards they have.
I think it would probably surprise many people to know how many SQ girls aren't Singaporean
