Here I am in the Amstel's business centre. As others have intimated, the free drink rewards for RA's here, who get upgraded to the 50 sq metre Executive Suites, are really very good indeed .

The contents of the mini-bar are (apart from the usual soft drinks and beer):

1 half bottle white wine
1 half bottle red wine
50cl bottle of Bombay Sapphire
35cl bottle of Bacardi
35cl bottle of Courvoisier
35cl bottle of Famous Grouse
50cl bottle of Absolut
20cl bottle of Grand Marnier

(Note: no champagne, and the snacks are 2 tubs of nuts, a Mars bar and a Toblerone)

I am unsure, at present, how much of this to take home! Ms RJB (who normally finds taking things from hotel rooms to be very childish) is actually more keen than me to get stuck in. I'll let you know what we decide on Monday!

PS. For anyone planning to stay here, I have to warn you that they have run out of the little China Delft windmills that made up the Ambassador welcome gift! Full report on the replacement when I get back and update the 'Report your RA experiences' thread!
