This is a worthy honor for Thurgood Marshall, I think. Rather than renaming an airport like Intercontinental after a relatively inconsequential one-term president. (How are they going to feel about that in fifty or a hundred years? It'd be like having James Garfield airport. People would ask, "Huh? Who?")
Anyway, the signs are a one-time improvement. Maybe having a reminder of all the good things Marshall did during his life on the bench will serve as an inspiration (however slight) to funnel more than a measly $2 million into inner-city education.
