I tried to book a UA ticket with just bonus miles and the reservation didn't complete. I'm not sure if it was because of bonus miles or a site error.
I thought there was some caveat like that on the Miles as Money deal, but went to the GP site and could not find it. Thanks. Oh well.
I'd still be interested in knowing if the GP staff offered it to BSL even though he had bonus miles in the mix, or if he had enough non-bonus miles to get the 3 tickets.
