ANYWAY, I think the only way to put in multiple quotes would be to cut/pate them. Oh well. No worries. I am just wishing some of the airline's own personnel was reading this thread and ones like it. Do they listen to customers or not? I wonder.
I think Continental does, although you would never guess this from the bulk of the postings. One very positive change they made some time last year, at the suggestion of frequent flyers was to permit assigning of the exit and bulkhead rows to Platinum elite flyers. This was one of my major complaints, Northwest at the time would assign me a exit row as a Continental elite, but Continental would not. It really ticked me off that a silver elite friend on Continental would tell me how she would get a "friendly" person at a President Club to assign her these seats. This is one example. A second is Continental now lists Northwest award options on its reward table, another plus that I assume was in response to flyers complaints. However, in rantings on this forum, I have read one "ranter" complain because Northwest options are listed first.
If I seemed to imply all complaints were "rantings", this was not my intent.
