Was in the cinema in Bahrain once and a phone rings. Guy three rows down takes it out, answers it, and then proceeds to have a loud conversation (in Arabic would you believe....we should have evacuated the building...).

Obviously, BahrainLad is not particularly pleased with this and so gets up, walks over, plucks handset from man's hand, throws it down the aisle and says in best safari-suit accent, "Don't use your phone in the cinema."

Being extraordinarily rude to extraordinarily rude people always works.
