The thread did make me smile though. I fly around China quite a bit and if you think Brit's shout into mobiles you should see the Chinese! Not to mention there penchant for releasing the seatbelt and standing up before we've even engaged reverse thrust.

I found quite an effective solution as we landed last week and the chap across the aisle promptly cranked his mobile into action - a simple grab-it-and-remove-the-battery action.

A definite yes to internet though.
