Northwest WorldPerks cards (issued by US Bank) are also offering the Signature card for the same fee as the Gold. But, I don't think that it includes double miles
I saw a thing on the Travel Channel a few months ago about credit cards for the "rich". I my (failing!) memory serves me correctly, they mentioned that each of the major card issuers have a "rich" product -- Visa was the only one that would release the name of their product -- the "VISA Signature". The show highlighted features of the concierge service -- getting tickets for sold-out shows, etc.
I believe that they also said that you needed an annual income of $250k. But, I suspect that they have lowered that requirement.
