I took a bit of a mystery trip when I was just out of college living in Wisconsin. I had a VDB free flight voucher and just went to the airport one cold, cold day with the idea that I was going to go to Las Vegas (talk about young and stupid! restricted ticket? book in advance? capacity controls? What are you talking about). Nothing avaiable to Vegas, but I already had my bags packed. So I say to the guy "just get me someplace warm". He's like "you serious"?

3 hours later I was in Miami. No gambling, but had a good time. Ended up taking the drive over 7 mile bridge to Key West that trip.
