Award ideas from MRY?
At the end of last year, I accumulated about 35k with bonus and actual miles. Just for fun I thought I'd see where I could go on a Value Award. It was not easy. I know ex-MRY makes it difficult, but I have no choice unless I want to spend $50/$70 to take the airbus shuttle to SJC/SFO. (I won't rule it out completely.)
Anyone have any ideas on where/how I would best spend my miles? Should I rack up a little more before cashing out? Does time of year change redemption values? No schedule, so I'm open for travel anytime.
