I am planning a trip to Tokyo, and therefore I have some questions:

1. Would you advise me to fly NRT-ZRH with Swiss in a A340-300 or with JAL with Boing 747-400? (BTW: Is 747-400 an old or new model?) I am flying in Y.

2. How much is the cost for the cheapest possible transfer from Tokyo airport to the town and with wich public transport is it (bus/metro/train)?

3. How does the public system work in Tokyo? I am planning to be there for about 4 nights? May I buy a 4-5 day pass, do I have to pay for every single trip??? Is there public transport at night?

4. What can I do in Tokyo? Night life, shopping, sight seeing etc? I have absolutely no idea about Japan.

5. Is it really so much frustrating to get around if one doesn't speak any Japanese at all?
