I think he's referring to the 4,000/8,000 ones that come from flying 4 or 8 more segments than last year over certain set dates. Beware on this one. I "registered" for it via touch-tone phone over the previous period and everything seemed to take, but no credits (I called OPSC and they gave me the "account not flagged" bit. I didn't put up a fight because if they went by the book there were likely other, more lucrative "unflagged" bonuses where I had credits that I didn't want disturbed).

So I did the touch-tone registration again for the one currently in effect, and again it seemed to take. But I'm not holding my breath and certainly not making any purchase decisions on the basis of a bonus like this that may or may not come through. Other offers have been reliable, but this one hasn't (for me at least). If you got the mailing you're probably fine for it, though.
