Now, American has some pretty stoopid local airport management. I think anyone who has flow on them to some of their destinations can vouch for this (and many here have). Saying that, you'd have to be next to incompetent (sp?) to
not put the bridge back out with people crying about how they are going to loose $1M dollars and cameras taping the whole thing (forgot about the cameras, didn't you). After all, American is a legacy carrier that depends on its image as customer service oriented and helpful to businesspeople -- folks who are trying to make money. Just like Uchenna and Joyce.
Normal? Nah. Good business? Yup.
