Award tickets to Europe for the summer are VERY hard to get. But be sure and have them check everything. AZ and CO both fly nonstops from NYC. But with all the European skyteam options I'd hope you could find SOME way of getting there on miles with a stop or two (AF via CDG, OK via PRG, KL via AMS, NW via DTW, and any combination thereof).

Also keep in mind there's no rulebusting on AZ.
