Thanks all for the thoughtful replies. I'll check out that room at the Marriott. I'm not sure what to do yet, but am tempted to have one person wait "around the corner" and "sneak in" later. I feel weird doing that, as I'm not usually the kind of person to gladly break rules, but 2 rooms for 2 nights when we'll be there for less than 48 hours is hard to pay for.
