Well, DL is not alone in this regard. As far as I know, the only interline e-ticketing agreements are CO-HP-NW and UA-AC-CO. All of the airlines have been slow in implementing interline agreements for e-tickets. Paper tickets, however, are very easily accepted across carriers, providing of course, there is the proper information in the endorsements box.
