Hilton Gold get treated very nicely in many European locations we visited:

- Vienna Plaza Hilton - on award stay, room in executive floor with lounge access. Good breakfast, eggs cooked to order by request through lounge attendant, decent drink selection. (2004)

- Budapest Hilton - invited us to use the lounge even though we were not staying at the hotel, just a quick day trip to Budapest from Vienna. (2004)

- Rome Cavalieri Hilton - No lounge access for golds, but a very very nice breakfast spread free even on an award stay in 2003.

- Rome airport Hilton - Executive floor with lounge access. Good breakfast, and hors d’oeuvre, some attendants allow drinks to brought back to room. (2003)

- London Waldorf Hilton - Junior suite on an award stay. Lounge was not open yet due to remodeling, but very good breakfast in 2003. Going back again this summer.
