There's still a BA 'flight' from BAH to Dharhan/Damman and vv that connects with the 124/125. You check-in in Saudi, drive across the causeway and then go through immigration in BAH.

Not as good as when Gulf Air did the 'Airbridge' in the 1980s before they built the causeway. 10 minutes in a 737-200, max height 10,000ft, 20 mile flight, I don't think they raised the gear. Makes Doha look positively longhaul.
