It's difficult to say. The AAA 3-diamond rating, specifically, is very wide. It covers everything from some Best Western motels to some Marriott hotels. I can trust that AAA 4- and 5-diamond rated hotels will be very good, and that 1- and 2-diamond rated hotels will be marginal, but 3-diamond rated hotels are a total crapshoot.

Generally, Hilton Garden Inns are fairly rated at 2.5* on Priceline.
