I did it for both reasons, but not purposely originally.

Actually, www.delta.com offered the cheapest airfare which also coincidentally yielded the most SkyMiles and Medallion Qualification Miles. I thought to myself that an extra hour or so is certainly worth it, so I did it.

Both flights were quite pleasant, and the flight attendant and I had a sense of humor about it, as I was the only passenger who flew on both the Atlanta-to-Lexington and Lexington-to-Cincinnati segments.

Although treating me to lunch is certainly not necessary, DLfan, I certainly would have liked to have seen you again as well, as it has been approximately one year since we met in South Florida.

I already apologized for not arranging to meet with either you or indufan in this milepost where I further described my experience pertaining to the snacks and drinks served on the Lexington-to-Cincinnati flight.
