Doesn't sound like you might be a very good candidate for UGS... Based on reports on this forum, UGS have had a high concentration of Y, B, P, C, D and Z fares.
All else being equal and not knowing anything about your travel patterns, it sounds to me like you may want to do 1K on UA and EXP on AA rather than 2.5K on UA. Think of it as hedging your bets.
