I guess it's all a matter of what you are comparing it too. I've lived in three major cities; SF, NYC, and Chicago. Chicago, by far, was the cleanest city I've lived in. Parts of SF are well kept, but in and around certain areas like Civic Center can be pretty trashed. Still, the beauty of the city with its hills and all, wins me over every time.
I can't wait to move back.
