Ouch!!! That's not much lead time for FC seats! You should allow at least 2-3 months, more would be even better.

But give it a try anyway! You just might get lucky, especially if you're willing to be flexible on flight dates. But, if you have your heart set on going, and no FC tix are available, you might want to consider BC or Economy tickets if necessary. After all, the flight is just a short part of the trip. I flew on Qantas BC tix, and it was a very pleasant flight.
