fwiw, no linens on my last DFW-BOS either -- this was two wednesdays ago. personally, i'm not opposed to that cut -- the linen serves no purpose during the meal, and is in the way both before and after, when i'd rather have my tray stowed.

i don't think there was a dessert plate, but i don't remember. i won't check next time, either, because i won't be getting that ice cream thing again.... eww... i'd rather have a simple cake or cheesecake -- if they did that, they wouldn't have to include dry ice with the catering, either....
