don't know about the 'lace napkins' as opposed to the plate. It's not lack of cutbacks cause everywhere else has them.

however, from what AMR keeps telling it's employee's when we write reports about things cut due to cutbacks....."Remind the customer that the plates and the linen is not what's important, but the LOW FARES is what is more important to the customer"

I will remember that the next time I pay $1600 one way between LAX and South Florida. If the fares were anylower I just might be able to cover my son's college tuition... He turns 4 in Oct.
