What's the best seat on the SQ 744? Can anyone say from experience? (A window seat with a window is very important to me. No window seats with just a wall.) Thanks!

Also, I'm just wondering for future reference...if I have some time to spare, is flying SFO-LAX-SIN-HKG (on the new A345 with Executive Economy) as opposed to SFO-HKG on plain ol' Economy worth the extra 14 hours or so?
