Do airlines remove flights from their site even if it's not sold out?
I have been watching a 1 layover flight from RIC to Houston to OGG for a couple of months, waiting for the price to drop. I've also been watching the seat count and making sure it didn't fill up too much. Lo and behold, I'm off on business for a few weeks, I come back and check, and the flight is gone. Continental.com is showing no 1 layover flights from RIC to OGG for Oct.10th now- they're not even showing any 2 layover flights anymore! Last time I checked, MAYBE 15% of the seats were sold. So while I assume there is a remote possibility the flight is now sold out, what else could have cause Continental to pull it from their site for over 2 weeks now? Should I assume that it has been cancelled or sold out?
I guess I could simply find out by calling but I wanted to see if any FTs knew of any other reasons...
