This may come across as a bit blunt, but... Carrying a balance is for poor people who can't afford to pay off their card and for dumb people who don't know any better. If you can afford a $400/year credit card, you shouldn't be carrying a balance. Otherwise, you should take that $400 and start working on paying off your credit card bill right now!
Priority Pass only gets the primary cardholder in for free. There is an additional fee for each companion.
In terms of the interest rate, my purpose of mentioning it was as an informational point for comparison sake between cards.
