True however, the main disadvantage of these challenges is what happens when you are up for renewal?
How much flying do you need to actually keep AA Plat?
Surely it's harder for someone living in the UK, although I'm first to admit I'm no expert.
Personally, I tend to look at what is needed for renewal for these cards as its no good having them for just a year, you would probably miss it afterwards...
