Are you flying during meal times though? As stated previously:

-- breakfast - a.m. departures thru 0959
-- lunch - departures 1100-1329
-- dinner - departures 1600-1929

If you are flying afternoon and evening, you might be departing outside of these time ranges, so no food would be expected.
