Just "completed" my buf-cle-dfw-iah-sea and return mileage run this past weekend. Except at the 2ns last leg (dfw-cle) i vounteered to be bumped, and i was put on a direct AA flight to Buffalo and a $250 voucher. It was like a free mileage run! I think my question had been asked recently, but i cant find it. If i was to take a flight before all the promos end in a week, can i use only part of my voucher and pay the rest with AMEX to get the bonuses.
Example: to Lax it is $229.50, can i say "oh i'll use just $228.50 of my voucher and forego the rest,and pay $1 on my Amex" will this work to get the points? ANy info will help thanks!!
