Not true! I got called by AMEX Centurion the other day to redeem some points for Credits. I think it only cost me 250,000 AMEX points for $1,000.

I know with 250,000point you can prob get 2 U Class ticket to HKG BUT really if it requires so much effort and availability is so shi& there is really no point!

Also I can get cheap I Class tickets on CX for only 2000AUD so I think 250,000 points for 1000AUD is good (especially when I just got my Centurion annual fee!)
