I wanted to compile a list of airlines that allow you to redeem last seat inventory using double miles. Sometimes, you just gotta go! Here's what I came up with so far. I'll try to elaborate more on the details of the airlines.

1. AA allows double miles at a rate of x 2
2. UA allows extra miles but not quite double on most routes **
3. Delta allows double miles at a rate of x 2
4. Northwest allows double miles x2
5. Continental is better than most as it will let you do x 2 one way and use normal redemption on the return **
6. Air France (I have heard) allows using double miles

I am not upto speed on most of the foreign airline programs, but would love to find out.
