Airport etiquette facts in En Route

My dad worked for Trans Canada Airways (Air Canada) in the mid fifties for a while and I found a box with some old TCA stuff he collected.

I have volume 1, number 1 of the first Inflight Magazine that came out in April 1958.

There is a flight facts column. Air etiquette - arrive at the airport at least 20 minutes before scheduled flight time ... Meals - If the flight crew are served before you it is because they will be busy with flight deck duties... Reconfirm your flight at least six hours before flight time and don't be a NO-SHO' !!!

It has a travel article on Belgium and Switzerland, a couple of pages on the new super constellation with lots of photos and schematics.

Also route maps, a crossword and articles on BC.

A couple of adverts including one to fly TCA to Winsor, pick up your car from the factory and have a "prideful" drive home.

And it even pushed the new TCA Air Travel Credit card so you can join the other 30,000 ATC holders.
