Not very relevant, but I was recently in Cabo San Lucas and I took back a few bottles of Pepsi, and they DO taste better than the ones I get in the U.S. (mind you, I'm a Coke fan so I don't actually buy Pepsi at the store - only when flying United). Or maybe it just tasted better because I avoided the water in Mexico.
Recently in Puerto V. I noticed that the Coke used sugar to sweeten, not corn syrup (like here in the U.S.)... a noticable difference in taste and IMHO better.
