Ms. JMD001 needed to go SFO-DCA then DCA-MSY a few days later then MSY-SFO a few days later. From Orbitz.com I found the cheapest flights, but when trying to book them on United.com, it wouldn't offer me those flights (specifically SFO-DCA with ORD connection) -- and believe me I tried SEVERAL different approaches. So I had to call. Booked the flights I wanted ... and got charged $5!

How do you interpret the rules: Should a 1K booking/buying a ticket for a someone else (albeit a 2P) be subject to the phone call charge?
