Never happened to me on UA, but one time flying on NW ex-DTW, I got a Portuguese (Brazil) can of Diet Coke (aka Coke Light). Flavor was subtly different, and they used a different sweetner system (ace-K and aspartame) as opposed to the straight aspartame they use here in the US.
