Just returned from my AK and TR trip and have to report that everything went quite well.

TR were very efficient and absolutely on-time (a mini SQ you might say). Seat pitch on the A320 was woeful though. I'm fairly short, but my knees brushed up against the seat in front.

AK had much better seating (I'd estimate an extra 3-4 inches of seat pitch), but had a bit of a problem in the punctuality stakes. I took two AK flights on my recent trip to South East Asia. One was 90 mins late (leaving KUL) and the other was 150 mins late leaving HDY. Otherwise, the check-in and flying experience was more relaxed (and pleasant) than TR.
