Funny how you feel like you "know" people already, just by the tone and content of their posts.
It is interesting, isn't it. Over the past seven years on FT, I have met, in real life, literally hundreds of FlyerTalkers--some of whom have become very dear friends. They always turn out to be pretty much exactly like I had envisioned they would be.
Somehow meeting "on line" breaks down some barriers and creates greater intimacy than meeting in real life. Odd, but true.
This year, thanks to FT, we will be visiting two new countries--Australia and Israel. Last year it was Italy, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, and Hong Kong. Little by little, out FlyerTalk friends tempt us to explore more and more of this big blue marble.
