I was that poster. Yes, on occasion, they will be open if very busy -- specifically, the management sometimes offers large groups/conventions weekend lounge openings as a perk. I listed it as "not open on weekends" since they are _usually_ not open on weekends, and someone shouldn't rely on them being open when making plans. Based on > 150 nights stayed there in 2004 (and a similar number in 2003), I can attest that the lounge is open on only a handful of weekends in a typical year.
