i have been flying AA for quite some time now, and overall am pretty happy with the airline, since i fly out of chicago's ohare (my home city).

however, i will be traveling to munich, germany alot more now, and AA does not have a non-stop flight into muc. and with UAL now offering a non-stop flight into muc from ord later in june, i was wondering if i should jump ship now from AA, and ask UAL to give me status if i change over.

im sure you guys/gals have much more experience than me, so curious to hear your thoughts on which airline would suit me better. i travel alot within the USA as well, and there maybe a flight or two into japan and asia, but flying into munich is more of a concern. stopping over through LHR is getting to be hassle...
