I have a UA-issued reservation for a YYZ-LAX on AC metal and would like to use an aeroplan UG cert. AC says they cannot access the file until the day of the flight at YYZ, and UA couldn't even upgrade their own FFs if they wanted to on the codeshare...

Looks like I have slipped through the cracks and will not be able to take advantage of the 4-day advance UG window, instead having to try my luck at check-in andor the gate.

Is there indeed nothing more I can do about this? Suggestions, previous similar experiences?
