As balance to the above comment, I have access to the KLM lounge in Amsterdam and prefer the DC lounge. Have used it at least 4 times a year for the last three years. Have also used the lounges in Munich and Frankfurt. Additionally, you do not have to be flying the airline whose lounge you wish to use. I for one consider the lounge access to have real value. The additonal options for conversion of DC points to a greater variety of frequent traveler programs plus the rental car coverage make the DC my preferred charge card. I dropped the Delta Sky Miles AMEX card when I was forced to deal with Eastern Indian customer service representatives whose second language, British based English was very difficult for me to understand.
