I have booked an award ticket on ANA for IAD-NRT...NRT-BKK in March 2006. Called today to reserve my seats, and they said they will not let me get them until check-in. This is really unbelievable, and not a good situation as during the booking process my wife and I ended up with different reservation numbers.

Anyone had luck by just calling and getting someone else?
