I don't always find them when I fly, but there is a glossy placard that explains how the seat operates. I swiped one once to educate my parents before their first 777 flight (which may explain why I don't always find them when I fly).

BTW, Charles, you can always count on the well placed Harvard magazine in your photos. Between that and the MD in your handle, one might erroneously conclude that you're status conscious.
