My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights awhile back, and I was very impressed by the service level. The first day we had breakfast, and my wife wanted hot chocolate, but the coffee machine didn't make it. When she asked the attendant about hot chocolate, he went in the back and made some for her. Not only that, but the next 3 days at breakfast we never said a word, but the attendant brought us a small pot of hot chocolate each day. That's what I call service and attention to detail!

I would also add that this is a great location for walking to various locations in the Harbor area. Opera House, Botanical Gardens, The Rocks, etc. It's also very easy to catch the tourist buses and the Ferries. Make sure you research getting a Sydney Pass and perhaps taking a harbor cruise if it's not too chilly.
