Yeah, that makes some sense, although it won't apply to everyone. I guess my concern is that BA make a big thing about the arrivals lounge being part of the CW or FIRST experience, yet neglect to point out (unless you happen to stumble across the link that
dnw provided - thanks!) that they might well be closed. So if you've been looking forward to a shower/change of clothes after effectively being promised it, you will be disappointed.
I think BA should be a little more honest and make note of this fact each time they sell the idea of the arrivals lounge on their website (e.g. the two examples I quickly looked for above).
And I'm in similar (but I'm not an "other") situation re passports, and I agree about FastTrack often being closed. They did try to improve it with a "residents" line, but often the "other" line seems to get processed faster (at least in T1). Roll on
